Lord Aamer Sarfraz

Lord Sarfraz is a Member of the House of Lords, the upper house of the United Kingdom Parliament. He has served on the AI in Weapons Systems Committee, the Science and Technology Committee, and the Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy. From 2022 to 2024, he served as the UK Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Singapore.

Lord Sarfraz is Chancellor of the University of East London, one of the UK's most inclusive and forward-looking universities. He is the Honorary Squadron Colonel of the British Army's 31 Signal Squadron.

Lord Sarfraz is an Advisor to C3 AI (NYSE: AI), an Advisor to DigitalOcean (NYSE: DOCN), a Commissioner of VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas (IDX: VKTR) a Venture Partner at Draper Associates, and an Advisor to Blitzy. He is founder of NetZeroAg, an agtech business. Earlier in his career, he was an Analyst in the Venture Capital Team at 3i Group (LON: III) and a Managing Director at private equity firm The Electrum Group.

He is Patron of The Lord Sarfraz Foundation and sits on several not-for-profit boards. He holds a BSBA in Management from Boston University, an MSc in Information Systems (Distinction) from the London School of Economics, and is a graduate of the Royal College of Defence Studies.
