The Problem

As Rivian scaled vehicle programs, connected services, and enterprise operations, legacy patterns of fragmented data, siloed workflows, and point-to-point integrations made it harder to move quickly and operate consistently at scale. Teams needed a more modern, governed, and resilient foundation to reduce manual effort, improve decision speed, and support a software-defined business model.

The Solution

We identified the highest-friction operational bottlenecks by tracing where data handoffs, disconnected systems, and manual interventions were slowing execution. From there, we prioritized a modernization approach centered on scalable integration, automation, governed data flows, and cloud-native architecture so the technology stack could support both current operations and future growth.
