Tech Optimization and Modernization

The Problem

Jim was one of the first customers who implemented OCPM for AP with Oracle and SAP ECC and has realized $5.5M in P&L savings. During implementation we uncovered a critical Duplicate Checker Invoice threshold limit that was causing us not pull in all invoices - this limit was increased for all future customers. In addition, Jim was the first who migrated to OCPM 3.0 for AP to improve PE granularity and accuracy. During the 3.0 transition, he worked with the Celonis team to ensure successful migration with four custom use cases. In parallel, he had his CoE integrate S/4 data into OCPM 3.0. After, he worked with Parked and Blocked Invoices Product Lead to improve how we capture blocked invoices for SAP - which will realize $.5M in one year. Most recently, this year he has worked with CS team to implement drop shipping for SAP in OM - first time this has been done. With the custom logic, we have already realized $1.7M P&L and counting with the Shipped Not Invoiced App. In addition, we implemented real time replication cockpit to improve load time from once a week to every 30 mins. With the goal to move to Celocore to further improve load times by year end.

The Solution

OCPM 3.0 with more four source systems, improved 3.0 logic, and real time replication cockpit.

The results

$7.2M P&L Impact, transitioned from their current Duplicate Invoice Checker to Celonis DiC, improved blocked invoices logic, and implemented drop shipping functionality via SAP.

Metrics

Reduced Avg Age per Credit Memo, Initial impact of 35% reduction in Ashville, and more.

The Technology

OCPM, OCPM 3.0 (Oracle, SAP ECC, and SAP4/HANA (2)), Real Time Replication Cockpit (SAP ECC)

Disruptive Factor

3.0 transition was arduous, taking >3 months and 2 months of hyper care. Jim had to work with business and CS team to improve 3.0 logic, implement drop shipping, and integrate real time replication cockpit for the Shipped Not Invoiced App

Shining Moment

Worked with the services team daily to validate new logic for 3.0 (nearly 5 months) which paved the way for future customer migrations. During which also improved Blocked Invoices Logic, implemented drop shipping for OM (not done before) as well as real time replication cockpit to have data load every 30 mins which realized $1.7M and counting.
