The Problem

In today's market, with a recession looming and the previously pervasive Great Resignation mentality, curating a positive and effective employee experience is vital to the health of an organization. Millenials and Gen Z employees are quick to assess a company's benefits, pay, and culture and are making employment decisions based on these factors more than ever. Over 30 years, Daversa Partners has worked to ensure the employee experience is top of the line. For most of its tenure, the organization was comprised of executive recruiters. Over the past few years, leadership recognized the importance of implementing operational departments that could solve the 'problem' of ensuring that Daversa Partners employees had the full employee experience. 

The Solution

Following this realization, Daversa Partners and its leadership team strategized and implemented initiaitves, departments, and infrastructure to ensure the highest quality, holistic employee experience for all employees who walked through the Daversa doors. Now, the company has a People Operations Team led by an experienced Chief People Officer, a Finance Team led by a veteran CFO, and Marketing and Communications Team led by a tenured VP. The organization has also implemented incredibly competetive benefits including fertility benefits, health and dental coverage, unlimited PTO, dog-friendly offices, company-wide events and holidays, and Employee Resource Groups for women, the LGBTQ+ community, and POC.

According to the results of the Great Place to Work survey, 98% of Daversa Partners employees consider their workplace a 'great place to work' as compared with the industry average of 57% employee satisfaction. 

The Technology

Technology used to obtain these results include the implementation of systemetized feedback and performance platforms like Lattice, the regular use of employee communication platforms like Slack and Workplace to regularly communicate upcoming initiatives like company-wide days off, team outings, learning and development opportunities, and educational/awareness messaging regarding important cultural happenings like Juneteenth, Black History Month, and Mental Health Awareness Month.
