Chief Executive, Communications, Media & Technology
Omar Abbosh is chief executive of Accenture's Communications, Media & Technology operating group, and a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Omar is responsible for Accenture’s work serving the digital platforms, media, telecommunications, semiconductor and consumer electronics industries - including building Accenture’s alliances with major technology companies.
Before being appointed to his current position, Omar served as Accenture’s chief strategy officer with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the company’s strategy, innovation programs, investments and mergers and acquisitions. In this role, he orchestrated Accenture’s own digital transformation, pivoting the company’s core business to Digital, Cloud and Security services, which now account for 60% of revenues. He successfully launched and scaled new businesses such as Accenture Security, and built Accenture’s Innovation Architecture, including a flagship 400-person Innovation Hub in Dublin. His experience and deep connections in Silicon Valley allow him to stay ahead of key shifts across multiple technologies.
Previously, Omar held several management roles in the Resources industry sectors including strategy, managing geographic client portfolios and leading Accenture Smart Grid Services. Omar frequently represents Accenture externally (e.g. The World Economic Forum, Confederation of British Industry) and with company investors.
Omar’s unique insights into global business, strategy and technology allows him to help clients succeed in a disrupted world. His upcoming book ‘Pivot to the Future’ shows how companies can discover value and create growth.
Omar joined Accenture in 1989 and became a partner in 1998. He holds a degree in electronic & information engineering from Cambridge University and a master’s degree in business administration from INSEAD.

Liz Miller brings a varied career that spans over 25 years in the Marketing, Sports and Entertainment, Retail, Health, Beauty and Personal Care spaces. Miller joined the operating partner of the CMO Council, GlobalFluency, in 2006, leading consumer marketing services engagements, quickly assuming the role of marketing and operations leader for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council. As the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Miller oversees all business strategy, marketing, research and program operations, as well as leading all research initiatives, content creation, product and service development and authors many of the reports available through the Council.
